Mode Transportation, a company specializing in freight management and forwarding, operates through a vast network of brokers and drivers. During productive meetings with stakeholders and team members, we set clear goals and prioritized tasks.
Our research revealed a lack of design standard across the system, prompting us to conduct a thorough UX audit. Valuable feedback from existing users helped us understand their needs, emphasizing the importance of having all functions accessible throughout the MODE system.
To address these challenges, we devised a solution comprising a new design system, guidelines, and enhanced UX. This comprehensive approach aims to improve the overall MODE system and enhance user interactions across all functions.
One of our primary objectives was to create a design system. We leveraged existing brand guidelines while introducing a new, modern visual design language and ensuring essential accessibility requirements were met.
Through emotional messaging, we improved the adoption of the TNS mandate, increased our subscriber list through segmented messaging, and improved communication open rates and individual donations.
The project goal is to develop an advanced data visualization platform that goes beyond conventional charts and graphs. By incorporating interactive and user-friendly elements, it will enable users to explore complex datasets effortlessly, gaining valuable insights. The platform’s intuitiveness will enhance data comprehension and decision-making for diverse stakeholders.
The Mode Transportation project successfully enhanced the company’s freight management and forwarding system. By establishing a new design system, implementing a refined UX, and addressing user needs through research and audits, we achieved a consistent and well-received experience. This project highlights the significance of a comprehensive design approach and user-centric development.
